I would definitely say that winter came in like a wrecking ball in November. Cue the music as it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

The fall is in full swing and after some fantastic weather, winter is definitely starting to creep right around the corner.

For those who were able to make it, we had a fantastic Start Up BBQ in September. The weather was great and we had tons of Spolumbo’s sausages, drinks, catching up with familiar faces and meeting some new ones.

Well, it’s that time of year again. Everyone is hitting up farmers’ markets to can some fruits and veggies, school is back in session, parents are looking at the price of gas lamenting why they signed up their kids up for so many extra curricular activities and we’ll need to wake Green Day up at the end of the month (if you get that last reference, hello fellow Millennial/Gen X’er!)

How is everyone doing after Stampede? I’m writing this on the first weekend of Stampede and it is great to see the city coming alive again and all the corporate cowboys and cowgirls dressed up and giving our hospitality industry a much-needed boost.

Summer is finally here and after some intense June rains, I think everyone’s garden will be absolutely amazing this year. I don’t know about y’all but seeing all the full trees in the park, the flowers in full bloom, and kids playing in the park is really good for my mental health.

Well, we have made it to the end of another crazy, stressful, and hectic school year. To all the parents, grandparents, teachers and support staff, thank you for keeping (most of) your sanity and getting through another year filled with unprecedented changes and new situations. Hopefully things continue to improve …

They say that April showers bring May flowers. We had such a bizarre April, filled with 20-degree patio days, followed by snow and highs around –10 degrees. Not sure what kinds of flowers we should expect.... I feel for all the gardeners out there and I will absolutely blame my terrible garden on the April weather.... *shifty eyes*
