As Spring Arrives…
On May 13th come have a drink with your neighbours!
Rosemont’s Spring Pub Night is Back!
It's time to come out of hibernation and get ready for summer. Our Pub Night is a great opportunity to remember what your neighbours look like and get reacquainted after a long winter indoors. We're going to have a variety of beer, wine, pub food, and games. Weather permitting, we'll even consider some outdoor games!
The cost is $25 per person which includes 3 drinks and food. Cash bar is also available.
RSVP ahead of time, no tickets at the door.
This event is for ages 18+
You must have a community membership to attend.

Casino in May
We are still looking for a couple more casino volunteers to help us out May 11 and 12. No experience is required and it’s a great way to meet some new people in the community. If you can spare a few hours, please contact us and we’ll put you in contact with our terrific coordinator Ian Kirkland.
Volunteering at this event provides a dependable revenue stream for us to offer free and discounted events throughout the year and maintenance to the hall, such as the new wooden boardwalk.
Shinny Wind Up
On March 21 2023, 27 of the 28 2023 Rosemont Shinny Hockey Players took to the Ice at the Acadia Rec Plex for a great game with sisters, brothers, moms and dads. After the game we all gathered for a Celebration of the Season with pizza and the handing out of the medals. It was a great party including Matthew Guilherme, our community President, who came to wish Grant Parks and Danielle Parks a fond farewell.
Grant Parks has been our great Shinny Coach for 14 years and we are very sad to see him go but wish him well in his next volunteering endeavors. Danielle has been assisting Grant for 10 years and before that was a Shinny player herself. We hope she can squeeze in some Shinny time beside her busy Engineering career. Matthew presented Grant and Danielle engraved tankards to remember their Rosemont Shinny experience. Raegan Reiter also assisted with Coaching this year and we hope she can return. As usual, a big shout out to the Ice Guys for keeping the Rosemont ice so good to skate on and going above and beyond when we had big snows to clear it for us. - Jean Blackstock

Rosemont Community Programs
As we get into spring season, our friends at LDK Foundation karate group and Common Digs (both renters at the community hall) have terrific spring and summer programs coming up. If you haven’t checked them out already, I highly recommend you do so as they offer fantastic programming. You can find their details on our website at RosemontYYC.com
As always, keep looking after family, friends, neighbours and yourselves.
